Registration is now open for the Common Ground Food Forum, June 15th-18th 2026 at Lakehead University in Orillia, Ontario, with early bird pricing in effect until May 1st, 2026. Information on accommodation options is also now available. Organized collaboratively by the Canadian Association for Food Studies, FoodCommunities Network, Common Ground Network and Food Secure Canada, the Forum theme is “Building a bigger table: Strengthening our relations” coast-to-coast-to-coast. It will feature panels, plenaries, paper sessions, an exploration gallery, excursions, social events, film screenings and much more, all with the aim of strengthening the connections between food systems actors, research, and action.
