Covid-19 Responses.

Beginning just before the COVID outbreak in 2020, FCN-RCN focused on capturing experience, knowledge and resources of food communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We undertook:

  1.  A rapid response needs assessment, and facilitated subsequent breakout teams with various stakeholders on the top issues identified:  emergency food distribution, community food production, assisting farmers and food policy.
  2. A summary report with synthesized data and an analysis and  will be shared with members. 
  3. An ongoing environmental scan of information, compiling various resources about the impact of COVID-19 on the food system.
